Manila FAME this coming October 17 to 19
Coming back for the second time this year, Manila FAME, one one of the longest-running trade shows in Asia, will once again showcase new and innovative products by Filipino manufacturers and designers this coming October 17 to 19, 2019 at the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay.
This October, the event will gather more than 300 exporters and manufacturers of home and lifestyle products. The event will surely show beautiful design-forward pieces from the furniture, fashion, home and decor, and lifestyle sectors.
Manila FAME works closely with local small and medium scale enterprises and artisan communities by collaborating with local designers to create new products to present and export to the nation and the global market.
The organizers have already prepared special settings to feature Filipino artistry such as the Design Commune’s Heritage Reimagined, Artisans Village, Eco-Lifestyle and the Fashion E-Tailer.
The Design Commune’s “Heritage Reimagined” will look back at time-honored traditions of Philippine design and material culture whilst creating new products for the modern lifestyle.
The Artisans Village is a venue for local MSMEs to introduce their crafts to the global market. This will special setting will showcase regional specialty products and it’s surely something to look forward to.
The Fashion E-Tailer segment will be featuring online retailers of rising fashion brands. The young and tech-savvy fashion enthusiasts will be enamored by a collection of this season’s trendiest styles.
Manila FAME will also have a Green Conference that focuses on sustainable solutions for design problems.
Manila FAME is a bi-annual event organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through its export promotion arm, the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM). It is also made possible thanks to the support of Antique Congresswoman Loren Legarda.
