PropertyAccess holds one of the biggest real estate conferences in Japan

PropertyAccess' International Property and Investment Conference returns for its first event in 2023 in Tokyo, Japan.

PropertyAccess held its first International Property and Investment Conference (IPIC) of the year on January 27 to 28, 2023 at Lumine Zero located in Shinjuku area of Tokyo, Japan in efforts to promote various global properties and further nurture interest in real estate investments.

With more than a thousand registrants, over 600 visitors attended the conference. Attendees were able to consult with 20 participating developer and agency partners from all over the world on available investment opportunities. Some notable participants who showcased their latest developments include Mitsui Fudosan Group from Japan, Federal Land from the Philippines, Talice from South Korea, and Sobha Realty from Dubai, UEA, just to name a few.

International partner developers, especially from the Philippines, took part in this conference primarily to engage with the Japanese buyer and investor market. Ms. Tina Salvador, Corporate Sales Channel Head of Federal Land shared, “Apart from the Philippines being an English speaking workforce, it’s actually [a country] that the [Japanese] would like to invest in. Of course, we know the Asian hospitality of the Filipinos – that is also one of the factors [they consider] apart from [Filipinos] being hardworking. We have that kind of partnership [between] Japan and the Philippines. [At least,] that is something we want. That’s really the [overall] goal.”

Attendees also got to listen to 16 speaking sessions by investment, technology, and real estate experts – one of which is PropertyAccess’ own Chief Operating Officer, Andy Roberts. He discussed about how property technology – or widely known as PropTech – has been redefining the real estate landscape globally through smart contracts, web 3.0, and the metaverse for the next five to ten years.

“The utopia of a Web 3.0 society is actually decentralizing away from some of the main players and putting the power back into people’s hands,” Mr. Roberts explained during his speaking session.

Partners were able to acquire numerous high quality leads during this event, making this conference a great success. And due to large ongoing interest on this event, PropertyAccess plans to hold a second IPIC in October 2023 with a different roster of participating companies in mind.
